 SLAB

Through the process of rolling ingots, slabs, the semi-finished steel, are manufactured. Slabs' cross-section are available in rectangular shape. This type of product acts as primary material in flat products manufacturing.The most common industries steel slab related to, are heavy machinery and the production of plates or coils. 

HEAVY SHEET PLATE

Sheet plates, the semi-finished steel, are rolled from slab and set in flat product group. The products can be manufactured both in hot-rolled and cold-rolled process. Concerning its thickness,length,width and grade they are devided into industrial and constructional.

HOT ROLLED SHEET/COIL

Hot-rolled steel sheet is used to manufacture structures for use in construction and machine-building; bodies, component housing  and working parts on cars and assemblies; shipbuilding components; facade detailing ; doors and doorways; consumer goods; and other products.

Hot-rolled steel coils are produced by hot-rolling in hot strip mills, which can be semi-continuous, continuous, reversing or non-reversing. Coils can also be made through compact strip production . After hot-rolling, coils have a wide range of applications: they are used to make profiles and shapes for construction and machine-building, as well as general and special-purpose pipes. Hot-rolled coil is also used to produce cold-rolled coil.

COLD ROLLED SHEET/COIL

Cold-rolled steel sheet is used to manufacture structures for use in construction, bent open and closed profile detailing , door systems, machinery housing, automotive and engineering parts and components, utensils and packaging.

Cold-rolled steel coils are made from hot-rolled coils by rolling them in continuous or reversing mills without preheating. Cold-rolling allows for very precise sizes and high surface quality of the coiled steel and a greater range of mechanical properties. The main utilization of cold roll coil are the construction, automotive and domestic appliance industries.
